This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do and do not do with it. It applies to this website and to the ways we communicate with you.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us directly:
- Name, email address, phone number, and mailing address
- Anything you choose to include in a message, form, or email to us
- For insurance quoting, information such as vehicle details, property details, driving history, and prior coverage
- If you apply for a job with us: your resume, employment history, licensing status, and any other information you submit with an application
Information collected automatically when you visit this site:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Device type
- Pages visited on this site
3. How we use it
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to your inquiries
- Prepare and present insurance quotes
- Service and renew policies
- Assist with claims
- Communicate with you by phone, email, and text where you have consented
- Meet our legal and regulatory obligations
4. Text messaging and mobile information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of information sharing exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We may share information with subcontractors who provide support services to us, such as customer service platforms and our telephony provider, solely to deliver the services you requested. These parties are not permitted to use your mobile information for their own marketing.
You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (502) 308-4382 or sam@spartanshieldins.com. Opt-out requests are processed within 24 hours. Message frequency varies for service messages and is limited to 6 messages per month for marketing messages. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
You must be at least 18 years old to consent to receive text messages from us.

5. Sharing with carriers
To obtain quotes and place coverage, we share the information necessary to underwrite with the insurance carriers we represent. This is separate from and does not include your text message opt-in.
6. Data retention
Inquiry and consent records are retained for at least four years, consistent with recordkeeping obligations and the applicable statute of limitations. Applicant records are retained for one year.
7. Your choices
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time — reply STOP to any text message, use the unsubscribe link in an email, or contact us using the details in Section 11. Opting out of marketing does not stop service messages about a policy you hold.
8. Security
We maintain reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
This site and our services are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
