SMS Terms and Conditions

1. Program description
Spartan Shield Insurance operates two text messaging programs:
- Service program — messages about quotes, policy servicing, billing, claims, and general correspondence with your agent.
- Marketing program — renewal reminders, coverage review offers, and agency news.
The two programs are separate. Opting in to one does not opt you in to the other, and you can opt out of either at any time.
2. How to opt in
You can join either program by:
- Checking the corresponding box on our contact form
- Providing your number and giving verbal consent during a call with a licensed agent
- Texting us first at (502) 308-4382
Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service from us.
3. Message frequency
Service messages vary by your activity — a quote in progress or an open claim generates more messages than a policy that is simply in force. Marketing messages are limited to 6 per month.
4. Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Spartan Shield Insurance does not charge for the messages; your mobile carrier may, depending on your plan.
5. How to opt out
Reply STOP to any message. We send one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages are delivered. Reply START to resubscribe at any time. Opt-out requests are processed within 24 hours.

7. Supported carriers
AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older, and the account holder or an authorized user of the mobile number you provide.
9. Privacy
Our full Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it. To restate the part that matters most here:
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of information sharing exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
